Arlene R. (McCloskey) Dolmayer, 76, of Leechburg, PA, passed away on Friday, June 10, 2016 at Fairwinds Manor Nursing Center, Sarver, PA.

The daughter of the late Ollie McCloskey and Mary (Gloden) McCloskey, she was born October 20, 1939, in New Kensington, PA.

Before retiring in 1994, Arlene was a registered nurse having worked for the Miners’ Clinic in North Apollo.  Prior to that, she had also been employed as a pediatric nurse for Dr. Chlodzinski in Lower Burrell.   Upon retirement, she took great pride and joy in taking care of her grandchildren.  She was a member of Christ the King Parish in Gilpin Township.  Arlene enjoyed reading, baking, shopping and traveling.

Survivors include her daughter, Michelle A. Roberts of Leechburg, PA; her two grandchildren, Sarah and Ryan Roberts; a brother, Richard McCloskey (Shirley) of Plum, PA; and numerous cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John L. “Jack” Dolmayer, who passed away October 25, 2004; a daughter, Jacqueline Dolmayer; and brother, Ollie McCloskey.

There will be no public visitation.  Private interment following at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Freeport.
