Family Protection Plan
Clawson Funeral Home will extend protection to the family of any adult that pre-funds her or his own funeral with Clawson Funeral Home.
Who is protected?
Any unmarried children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren under the age of 18 years old are protected. They must be in good health at the time the adult prearranges. Also protected until the age of 18 years old are any unmarried children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren who are born after the date of the prearrangement. Protected individuals must reside within a four-mile radius of Leechburg.
How long are they protected?
This protection is in force during the life of the person who has the prearrangements and as long as the prearrangements are still with Clawson Funeral Home.
What is provided by this protection?
If the death occurs of a child that is protected, Clawson Funeral Home will provide services and merchandise equal to the value of the services and merchandise selected on the prearrangement of the adult for free. The family must select Clawson Funeral Home or a church as the location of the funeral and Clawson Funeral Home will conduct and provide the services and merchandise, excluding all cash advances.

Funeral
In the Event of death of a Participant who is more than 100 miles from his or her legal residence at time of death. Assist America will render any assistance, including locating a sending funeral home or mortuary, transporting the remains from the site of death to the sending funeral home or mortuary, preparing the remains for transport, transporting the remains to the seller's location by air or any other appropriate transportation, purchasing the minimally necessary casket or air tray for transport, and procuring the consular services (for death overseas) and death certificates.
Cremation
In the Event of death of a Participant who is more than 100 miles from his or her legal residence at time of death. Assist America will render any assistance, including locating a sending funeral home or mortuary, or direct disposition facility, transporting the remains from the site of death to the sending funeral home, mortuary, or direct disposition facility, preparing remains, cremating and transporting remains to a location designated by the seller, procuring consular services (for death overseas) and death certificates.
