I'm glad I had the privilege of meeting and caring for Mr. Newton at the Pittsburgh VA. I won't forget his courage or the love he had for his family. I wish you all the best.

My condolences to the Newton family at this time of loss. Losing someone you love is never easy. May you find comfort in the words of Psalm 46:1, "God is our refuge and strength, a hope that is readily found in times of distress." May you hold on to your happy memories and seek comfort from God through prayer, knowing that he cares for you. (1 Peter 5:7)

Brenda, family and friends I will forever hold dear some of the laughter we all shared in your home and when we were all together. Below is a poem I wrote and I think it says it all. Love and Prayers.
Never Really Gone

Somewhere in this vast world,
is someone once loved.
Someone really never erased from
our hearts and mind.
Although gone from sight and touch,
lives on in a song, a place, and
our memories.
We feel their presence, as the soft
breeze passes across our cheeks,
We smell them in the fragrance of
flowers in the field.
We hear them speak to us,
in the gentleness of a song.
So as long as the breeze blows,
the flowers bloom,
and songs are sung.
They will continue with us,
Never Really Gone.
