Nancy Jo (Schottenheimer) Hamilton, 79, of Allegheny Township, PA, passed away on Monday, June 13, 2016 at West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA.

The daughter of the late Walter Schottenheimer and Isabelle (Eshelman) Schottenheimer Games, she was born on December 25, 1936 in New Kensington, PA.

Nancy was a homemaker and member of the former Hope Lutheran Church in Hyde Park where she participated in the church’s Ladies Aide organization.  Her interests included decorating, shopping, cooking and spending time with her family.  She enjoyed her grand pups very much.

Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Gerald Hamilton of Allegheny Twp., PA; her two sons, Randy S. Hamilton and Wendell D. Hamilton, both of Allegheny Twp, PA; her daughter, Melody S. Peterman (Douglas) of Hyde Park, PA; and a half-sister, Sally Games of Leechburg, PA.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-father, Harry Games; and two step-brothers, James and William Games.

Friends welcomed by her family on Thursday, June 16, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Clawson Funeral & Cremation Center, 170 Main Street, Leechburg (724-842-1051) where funeral ceremonies will be held at 11 AM on Friday with the Reverend Gary J. Lyon officiating.  Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
