Mario Richard Pezzana Jr., 67, of Manorville, PA, passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh.

A son of the late Mario R. Pezzana Sr. and Gertrude Lorraine (Fryer) Pezzana, he was born March 30, 1949, in Hyde Park, PA.

Mario was of the Catholic faith and a veteran having served in the U.S. Marines during the Vietnam War.  He had been employed as an operator and did various other jobs at Allegheny Ludlum Steel in West Leechburg, Bagdad and Vandergrift for 30 years before retirement in 2000.  Mario was an avid reader who enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, canoeing, watching nascar, and spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Joan E. (Ondrusek) Pezzana of Manorville, PA; his two daughters, Colleen B. Cooper of Ford City, PA, Kelly A. Clark (Nathan J.) of Worthington, PA; four grandchildren, Aaron Cooper, Addison Llewellyn, Emily Cooper, Ashton Clark; a sister, Betty Ann Imm (James) of Lower Burrell, PA; two nephews, Christopher J. Imm (Kristen) of Lower Burrell, PA, Sean Richard Imm of Lower Burrell, PA; and a niece, Jessica Lorraine Thomas (Johnathan) of Madison, PA.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Robert T. Pezzana; and an infant sister.

Friends welcomed by his family on Friday, February 17, 2017 from 1-3 and 5-7 PM at Clawson Funeral & Cremation Center, 170 Main Street, Leechburg (724-842-1051) where funeral ceremonies will begin at 7 PM with the Reverend Ronald Cyktor officiating.  Interment will be private at the convenience of his family.
