John P. Previni, 93, of Allegheny Township, PA, passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2016, in Our Family's Home, Ford City, PA.

Born May 7, 1922, in Apollo, PA, he was the son of the late Ortensio and Eugenia (Spiller) Previni.

John was employed for 35 years, in the Furnace Department, for Hyde Park Foundry and Machine Company, Hyde Park, PA. He was an Army veteran during World War II. John was a member of the former Hyde Park Lutheran Church, Hyde Park, PA, the American Legion 383 in Schenley, PA, and the VFW in Leechburg, PA. He enjoyed watching his grandkids play baseball, watching the Pirates, going to Cooks Forest and listening to polkas.

Survivors include sons, John P. Previni, Jr. (Mary), of Berwyn, PA, Thomas D. Previni, of Leechburg, PA, and Timothy P. Previni (Kathy), of Allegheny Township, PA; daughters, Nancy Troup (David), of Cape Coral, FL, and Betty Joyce (Bruce), of Lawrenceville, GA; and 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Fay A. (Baker) Previni, on July 8, 2001; brothers, Frank Previni, Rico Previni, and Jimmy Previni; and sister, Augustina Gabborin.

Friends welcomed by his family on Tuesday from 4 PM until the time of his funeral ceremonies at 8 PM at Clawson Funeral and Cremation Center, 170 Main Street, Leechburg (724/842-1051), with Rev. John W. Snyder officiating. Interment will be on Wednesday at 10 AM at Greenwood Memorial Park, 104 Melwood Road, Lower Burrell, PA 15068.
