Frank R. Shoupe, 87, of Allegheny Township passed away at Allegheny Valley Hospital on Monday, June 27, 2016.

He was born on September 11, 1928, to the late Richard A. Shoupe, Sr. and Media Ruth (Shaner) Shoupe.

Frank lived his entire life in Allegheny Township, was a graduate of Freeport High School and was employed by Allegheny Ludlum Steel, West Leechburg Works, retiring in 1982 after 36 years of service.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Virginia M. (Brink) Shoupe; son, John M. Shoupe of North Huntingdon; grandchildren, Michael (Kacey) Shoupe and Anne Hazlett; and great-grandchildren, Lilly and Zachery Shoupe and Jaxon Hazlett.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers and a sister, Richard A. “Bud” Shoupe, Jr., Braden S. Shoupe and Alice Hildebrand.

Per Frank’s wishes, there will be no viewing or services.  Burial will be at Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell, at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Clawson Funeral & Cremation Center, 170 Main Street, Leechburg (724-842-1051).
