I've known her since we went to the former Brick Church Lutheran Church. She was a very good friend. Her grandmother, Sophia Ellen, was a sister of our grandfather, George Woodside. I'd given her a picture of our grandparents one time that she didn't have. She was happy to get it. I have enjoyed going to the "pig roasts". May God bless Bill and her family at this time.

Alice was a loving, kind, giving, strong, witty and wise woman who was dedicated to her family and faith. Taken much too young. May her soul rest in peace and in God's loving arms.

You have my prayers of sympathy and thanksgiving for Alice's life and witness and service to her Lord! It was a joy to work with her at a time of transition at Spring Church and to have her as a colleague in the life of the synod. "Rest eternal grant her, O Lord; and let light perpetual shine upon her."

I am praying for Alice's family and friends. Alice was a very caring and giving person who brought joy to everything she did. The Women of the ELCA will surely miss her work and support for our organization.
May God give you comfort throughout the weeks that come.

What a shining light, of course God called her, who else is suitable to stand at his side? Alice was my guiding light when I started nursing at ACMH, she showed me the ropes and shared her knowledge and great skills. She definitely was a busy fulfilled lady, respected, honest, lovely. Bill, I am sorry she is gone from here, but will always be beside you, above you, look up at the twinkling stars, that is Alice smiling! Your family is in my thoughts and Prayers. God Bless and Peace.
