William C. Walker "Tuddy", age 64, was unexpectedly called Home to be with our Lord in the early hours of Thursday, June 23rd, after fighting a courageous battle with cancer.
William was born September 29, 1957 to Donald Walker and Elizabeth Pelino-Walker. He enjoyed hunting, walking in the woods, exercising, physical activities, and had a love for the game of baseball. In his teens, he joined the Marine Corps and was stationed in Hawaii where he played baseball on the Marine Corps team. After being discharged, his love of the game continued throughout his life, having earned him 4 Nationals, 2 All Worlds, and many MVP. William made a living as a self-employed contractor (BilcoBilly), and made many life-long friends along the way. There wasn't anyone he didn't like and greeted everyone with a smile. He was quick-witted, and funny, and loved to make people laugh.
He will be greatly missed by his family and friends, but deeply by his Smylze (fiancé), JoAnne Miller and sons, Joshua Walker (Justine Fiumenero), Jeremiah Walker (Amanda Blystone), and Nickolas Walker (Stephanie Zur). Survivors include a wonderful friend, Nancy Walker; his father and bonus mother, Edith Mills-Walker; four brothers, Donald Walker (Stella), Larry Walker (Denise), Randy Walker, and Danny Mills; several nieces and nephews; and two grandchildren, Miah Dee Walker and Gunner Joseph Walker.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Lisa Walker.
Friends will be welcomed by his family on Sunday, June 26, 2022 from 2-4 p.m. at Clawson Funeral & Cremation Center, 170 Main St., Leechburg, 724-842-1051. His memorial service will begin at 3:30 p.m. with Pastor David Watkins officiating. Interment will be private.
