William Anthony Sublinsky, 80, of Allegheny Township, PA, passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2024, at the VA Medical Center in Aspinwall.
A son of the late Walter and Helen Sublinsky, he was born on October 13, 1944, in New Kensington, PA.
Bill was a veteran having served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He had been employed as a service and parts manager for Jacks Auto Ford in Sarver for over 40 years before retiring in 2007. Bill was a member of the American Legion, and an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed reading, building things, planting flowers, fixing/working on cars, computer activities, and fruit and vegetable gardening.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Sandra A. (Scratchard) Sublinsky of Allegheny Township; a son, Jeffrey A. Sublinsky (Elizabeth) of Egg Harbour Township, New Jersey; a granddaughter, Audrey Grace Sublinsky; two brothers, Daniel Sublinsky (Cheryl) of New Kensington, and Kenneth Sublinsky of New Kensington.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Charles, Walter and Robert Sublinsky; sisters, Delores Anto and Lois Sublinsky.
