William H. Hepler, 67, of Bethel Twp., PA, passed away on Friday, January 11, 2019 at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.
A son of Howard J. Hepler and the late Edna A. (Downing) Hepler, he was born February 22, 1951 in Natrona Heights, PA.
William was employed by Eljer Manufacturing in Ford City in the shipping and receiving department for over 30 years before retiring. He was of the Lutheran faith. William was a model train enthusiast who enjoyed hunting, fishing, working on cars, and especially spending time with his beloved family and dogs.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Patricia L. (Dykes) Hepler of Bethel Twp.; his father of Kittanning; four sons: Toby A. Hepler (Susan) of Gilpin Twp., Corey M. Hepler (Elizabeth Smith) of Gilpin Twp., Jeremy W. Hepler (Lisa) of Gilpin Twp. and Christopher R. Hepler (Vanessa) of Parks Twp.; six grandchildren; a brother, Jerry Hepler (Carole) of Supply, North Carolina; a sister, Barbara Wakefield (Jim) of Indiana, PA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends welcomed by his family on Tuesday, January 15, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Clawson Funeral & Cremation Center, 170 Main Street, Leechburg (724-842-1051). Funeral ceremonies will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, Jan. 16, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Ryan Pusch officiating. Interment following at Forks Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church Cemetery, 253 Forks Church Rd., Gilpin Twp.
