Wayne E. Dunlap

Wayne E. Dunlap, 80, of Allegheny Township, PA, passed away on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 in his residence.

A son of the late James Dunlap and Caroline (Ellerman) Dunlap, he was born January 1, 1941, in New Kensington, PA.

Wayne had been employed as a meat cutter by the Giant Eagle in Allegheny Township for 39 years before retiring in 2004.  He was a member of the former Church of God in Allegheny Township.  Wayne enjoyed fishing, riding his motorcycle, going on vacations to Tennessee and especially spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Darlene E. (Burns) Dunlap of Allegheny Township; four sons, Eric W. Dunlap (Aimee) of Natrona Heights, Shawn M. Dunlap of Allegheny Township, Scott A. Dunlap (Kelly) of Natrona Heights, Jason T. Dunlap of Allegheny Township; five grandchildren; a great-grandson; a brother, Calvin Dunlap of Lower Burrell; and a sister, Barbara Kubiak of Lower Burrell.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, LeRoy Dunlap; and two sisters, Annabell Stone, Emma Schrecongost.
