Warren E. “Buck” Williams Jr., 81, of Leechburg, passed away on Monday, December 5, 2022, in his residence.

A son of the late Warren E. Williams Sr. and Mary Jane (Hill) Williams, he was born September 11, 1941 in New Kensington, PA.

Buck had been employed as a meter reader and equipment operator by Apollo Gas for 25 years before retirement.  He was a member of the Forks-Zion Lutheran Church in Gilpin Township.  For 54 years, he was a member of the Gilpin Township Volunteer Fire Dept., where he served as former chief and engineer working on the fire trucks.  Buck enjoyed running machinery and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Beverly (Parks) Williams of Leechburg; three sons, Edward Williams (Virginia) of Gilpin Township, David Williams (Stacey) of Upper Burrell, Thomas Williams (Toni) of Gilpin Township; seven grandchildren, Alicia Bollinger, Christina Cesario, Brianna Williams, David Williams Jr., Dayne Williams, Christopher Williams, Jeremy Williams; four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Fearby Morford (George) of Missouri.

Friends will be welcomed by his family for a public memorial visitation to be held from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, January 7, 2023, at the Gilpin Township Fire Hall, 113 Fire Hall Road, Leechburg, PA 15656.
