Theresa “Tessie” (Oglietti) Cader, 99, of Hyde Park, Pennsylvania, passed away Monday, May 19, 2025, at home surrounded by family.  Tessie, the daughter of the late Guy and Pearl Oglietti, was born in Hyde Park, Pennsylvania, February 13, 1926.

Tessie was a nurse for twenty-two years at Citizens General Hospital in New Kensington.  She was a member of Christ the King Parish in Gilpin Township, and she loved spending time with her family.  Tessie was a woman of faith, a role model, and the matriarch of the family.  She was a mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin, and friend, who made a difference, and we thank the Lord for her life.

She is survived by her children, Chris (Bob) Kirby of McAllen, Texas, Kathy (Jack) Delahanty of Yorba Linda, California, Tom of Danielson, Connecticut, and Teresa and Tony of Hyde Park, Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Jennifer, Jessica, Rob, Katie, John, and David; great grandchildren, Danny, Cece, Lilah, Donovan, and Joanna; her sister, Loretta Konieczny of Allison Park, Pennsylvania, as well as numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Tessie was preceded in death by her husband, John (2007), son, John Guy (1978), brother, Elmer Oglietti (1944), and sister, Melvina Burke (2005).

The family thanks the loving and caring staff of the AHN Hospice team, especially for Sharon, Andrea, Amanda, and Faith.  Their support and care made a wonderful difference in our lives, and their presence was a great comfort to Tessie.

Friends will be welcomed by her family on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, from 3-6 p.m. at the Clawson Funeral & Cremation Center, 170 Main St., Leechburg, 724-842-1051.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, May 28, at Christ the King Parish, 125 Park Rd., Leechburg, with the Rev. Alan N. Polczynski as celebrant.  Interment will follow at St. Catherine Cemetery in Gilpin Township.
