Terry Solomon Obituary

Terry Wayne Solomon, 67, of Gilpin Township, passed away on Friday, April 1, 2022, in his residence.

A son of Jean (Shaffer) Solomon and the late Kenneth Solomon, he was born November 8, 1954 in Natrona Heights, PA.

Terry had been employed by Allegheny Ludlum Steel in West Leechburg and Bagdad for over 42 years before retiring in 2015. He was of the Catholic faith and an avid sports fan. Terry enjoyed walking with his wife Carol, fishing, watching sports and especially spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Carol (Mikeska) Solomon of Gilpin Township; his mother of Leechburg; a son, Eric Solomon (Sara Steigerwald) of Canonsburg; a daughter, Rachel Merritt (Adam) of Wilmington, NC; a brother, Jeff Solomon (Lisa) of Transfer; a sister, Cindy Davis (Brad) of Leechburg; nephews, Zachary Ridenour (Kelsey) of Leechburg and Jacob Solomon (Alaska) of Houston, TX; grandnephew, Parker and grandniece, Haley.

There will be no public visitation or funeral ceremonies. The Clawson Funeral & Cremation Center, 170 Main St., Leechburg, 724-842-1051, has been entrusted with private arrangements.
