Susan J. (Moore) Cuffia

Susan J. (Moore) Cuffia, 77, of Allegheny Township, passed away on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, in her residence.

A daughter of the late John Moore and Evelyn (Riley) Moore, she was born December 5, 1945 in Vandergrift, PA.

Susan had been employed as an office manager by the Kiebler Agency in Leechburg for 22 years before retiring in 2011.  She was a member of St. Gertrude Roman Catholic Church in Vandergrift.  Susan enjoyed baking, playing cards with her card club, and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Gilbert E. Cuffia of Allegheny Township; her daughters, Melissa Penrose (Paul) of Indiana, PA, Karen Glabb of Allegheny Township; four grandsons, Ryan Penrose (Emilie), Zachary Penrose (Katie), Mason Rupert, Austin Rupert; a brother, Richard Moore (Kathie) of Oklahoma Borough; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Shirley Marcin.

Friends will be welcomed by her family on Friday, June 2, 2023 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Clawson Funeral & Cremation Center, 170 Main St., Leechburg, 724-842-1051.  A Blessing service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 3, at the funeral home with the Rev. James H. Loew, O.S.B. officiating.  Interment will be held at St. Catherine Cemetery in Gilpin Township.
