Steven P. Kasacjak, 73, of Allegheny Township, passed away Thursday, April 9, 2026, after a battle with cancer.
A son of the late Joseph S. Kasacjak Sr. and Kathleen D. (Lyle) Kasacjak, he was born February 13, 1953, in New Kensington, PA.
Steven was a 1971 graduate of Leechburg High School. He had been employed as a steel worker in the slitter dept. for 45 years by Allegheny Ludlum Steel in Vandergrift before retiring in 2017. He loved hunting and fishing in his spare time, along with spending time on his boat with his family and friends at his camp at Kiski Campgrounds. He was a member of Christ the King Parish in Gilpin Township, the Parks Township Sportsman’s Club. Steven will be sadly missed by his family, friends and dog Molly.
He leaves behind his wife of 53 years, Mary (McKee) Kasacjak of Allegheny Township; a daughter, Jenny Kasacjak of New Kensington; a son, Steven Kasacjak Jr. of Allegheny Township; a granddaughter, Catora Wilson of New Kensington; three sisters, Mariane Kasacjak Yaculak of Virginia, Dorothy Kasacjak (Michael) of Gilpin Township, Margie Kasacjak Parks (Thomas) of Parks Township; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two brothers, Roy Horrell and Joseph S. Kasacjak Jr.
Friends will be welcomed by his family on Thursday, April 16, 2026, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Clawson Funeral & Cremation Center, 170 Main St., Leechburg, 724-842-1051, where parting prayers of transfer will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, April 17. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m. at Christ the King Parish, 125 Park Road, Leechburg, with the Rev. Alan N. Polczynski as celebrant. Private interment will be held at St. Catherine Cemetery in Gilpin Township.
