Steve J. Mago Jr., 84, of Leechburg, PA, passed away on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at Sunnyview Nursing Home in Butler.

A son of the late Steve J. Mago Sr. and Clara (Grantz) Mago, he was born on March 19, 1940.

Steve was a veteran of the U.S. Army and member of the American Legion Post in Schenley.  He had been employed as a dispatcher with Allegheny Ludlum Steel in West Leechburg for over 35 years before retiring in 1994.  Steve was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan who enjoyed spending his time with his family and friends.

Survivors include two sons, Rob Yurga (Sarah) of New Kensington, Anthony Yurga of New Kensington; five daughters, Theresa Nichols (Samuel) of Florida, Stacie McGrath of Lower Burrell, Stephanie Eagle of Lower Burrell, Kelly Tommarello (Giulio) of Cheswick, Shelly Mago of Saltsburg; 14 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a brother, Charlie Mago (Patricia) of Cranberry.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Marie (Bowser) Mago; a son, Mark Yurga; and sons-in-law, Keith McGrath and Richard Eagle.
