Ronald John Dezzutti, 74, of Greensburg, PA, passed away on Monday, December 30, 2024, at Westmoreland Hospital in Greensburg.
A son of the late John Dezzutti and Elisabeth (Kepics) Dezzutti, he was born on January 4, 1950, in New Kensington, PA.
Ronald had been employed as a Teacher and an Assistant Principal by the Allegheny Intermediate Unit for 37 years prior to retirement in 2008. He was a devout Catholic and member of Mother of Sorrows Church in Murrysville where he participated in the church’s Men’s Group. He was also a member of the Rotary Club in Delmont and Fit 4 Boxing in Murrysville. Ronald had a general love for airplanes, skiing, traveling and especially spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. At one time he owned and operated the “Travel Agents International” agency.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Ida Marie (Leoni) Dezzutti of Greensburg; sons, Jonathan Dezzutti (Jessica) of Virginia, and Ryan Dezzutti of Greensburg; grandchildren, Logan and Brooke Dezzutti; a sister, Jacqueline Zamperini (Ron) of Sarver; Goddaughters, Bridget Zamperini-Bouril of Virginia, and Dena Kepics of Pittsburgh.
Friends will be welcomed by his family on Saturday, January 4, 2025, from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the Clawson Funeral & Cremation Center, 170 Main St., Leechburg, 724-842-1051. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. at Christ The King Parish, 125 Park Road, Gilpin Township, with Bishop Larry J. Kulick, J.C.L., as celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Catherine Cemetery in Gilpin Township.
