Robert J. Coleman, 79, of Leechburg, PA, passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2020 at Allegheny Valley Hospital in Natrona Heights.

A son of the late McClelland Curtis Coleman and Irene Yvonne (Metzler) Coleman, he was born October 10, 1941, in Natrona Heights.

Robert had been employed by the A&P Food store in Leechburg prior to retiring as a meat cutter from Pounds Turkey Farm in Allegheny Township in 2003.  He was a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Lower Burrell.  He raised beagle dogs and was also a member of the Beagle Club.  Robert enjoyed watching baseball games and following the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, JoAnn L. (Morvick) Coleman of Leechburg; three daughters, Lisa A. Lorent (Kris) of Lower Burrell, Christine K. Coleman of Glenshaw, Susan A. Lander of Apollo; and two grandchildren, Lucas and Alexis Lander.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, William J., Clifford A. and Cecil L. Coleman.

There will be no public visitation or funeral ceremonies.  The Clawson Funeral & Cremation Center, 170 Main Street, Leechburg (724-842-1051) has been entrusted with private funeral arrangements including interment at Brookland Cemetery in Allegheny Township.
