Priscilla Lee McCormick, 69, of Leechburg, PA, passed away on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at The Orchards of Saxonburg.
A daughter of the late Paul Lee McCormick and Ila Jean Audrey (Bone) McCormick, she was born February 7, 1952, in New Kensington.
Priscilla worked as a registered nurse for the former Citizens General Hospital in New Kensington before retirement. She was a member of Holy Innocents Anglican Church in Leechburg where she was an active participant in the church’s Women’s Group and Quilting Group. Priscilla was very artistic with painting and sewing projects. She was avid at swimming and enjoyed being with her pet, Sawyer. Attending concerts was a favorite pastime, especially Sawyer Brown concerts. She also enjoyed taking photos at every family event.
Survivors include her brother, Timothy L. McCormick (Sharon) of Saxonburg; and a sister, Judith A. McCormick of Leechburg; five nieces, Gretchen Cash (Dan) of Leechburg, Allison Sanders (Charles) of Leechburg, Kristen McCormick of Leechburg, Camden Schneider (Hal) of West Sunbury, Erin McCormick of Leechburg; a nephew, Dustin Paulsen (Megan) of Kalamazoo, Michigan; and 13 great nieces and great nephews.
Friends will be welcomed by her family on Friday, May 28, 2021 from 11 a.m. until the time of funeral ceremonies at 1 p.m. at Holy Innocents Anglican Church, 366 Third St., Leechburg, with Rev. Colleen Klingensmith officiating. Private entombment following at Greenwood Mausoleum in Lower Burrell.
The Clawson Funeral & Cremation Center, 170 Main Street, Leechburg (724-842-1051) has been entrusted with arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Priscilla’s name may be made to her church at the address above, or to her family to help defray funeral costs. All visitors are asked to respectfully follow current state guidelines of required masks/face coverings, social distancing and gathering restrictions of 50% capacity.
