Norma Jean (Wagner) Hill

Norma Jean (Wagner) Hill, 86, of Apollo, PA, passed away on Sunday, July 11, 2021.

A daughter of the late Joseph G. Wagner Jr. and Dorothy (Spang) Wagner, she was born May 22, 1935 in Leechburg.

Norma had been employed for over 30 years as a bookkeeper by several small businesses throughout her career before retirement.  She was a member of the Apollo United Presbyterian Church where she was an active participant in numerous church groups and activities including being a Sunday School teacher.  Norma was also a member of the “Sweet Adelines” singing group.

Survivors include a daughter, Kathleen VanDerWeele (Eric) of Apollo; two grandchildren, Kristen Stewart (Brandon) and Ashley Todd (Ryan); a great-grandson, William Stewart.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. Hill in 1997; and a son, David M. Wilkinson in 1989; and a brother, Joseph G. Wagner III.

Friends will be welcomed by her family on Friday, July 16, 2021, from Noon until the time of funeral ceremonies at 2 p.m. with Rev. Lea Austin officiating at the Clawson Funeral & Cremation Center, 170 Main Street, Leechburg (724-842-1051).  Interment following at Greenwood Memorial Park, 104 Melwood Road, Lower Burrell.
