Nancy L. (Palmer) Klingensmith, 89, of Apollo, passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, in her residence.

A daughter of the late Jesse Palmer and Armantia “Minnie” Esther (Cochran) Beacom, she was born July 2, 1934 in Punxsutawney, PA.

Nancy was a homemaker and member of Holy Innocents Anglican Church of Leechburg and the Elks Lodge.  She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, making crafts, traveling, gardening, bowling and woodworking.

Survivors include her children, William D. Klingensmith (Colleen) of West Leechburg, Jeffrey Allen Klingensmith (Tina) of Washington Township, Dale Robert Klingensmith of Apollo, Sandra Lyn Ravetto (Anthony) of Leechburg; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and brother, Charles K. Palmer of Apollo.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Donald Klingensmith in 1995; and sons, James D. Klingensmith Jr. and Richard Keith Klingensmith.

Friends will be welcomed by her family on Sunday, December 3, 2023 from 1-4 p.m. at the Clawson Funeral & Cremation Center, 170 Main St., Leechburg, 724-842-1051.  Funeral ceremonies will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, December 4, at Holy Innocents Anglican Church, 366 Third St., Leechburg, with the Rev. Colleen Klingensmith as celebrant.  Interment will follow at Forks Church Cemetery in Gilpin Township.
