Mona J. (Cecconie) McComb

Mona J. (Cecconie) McComb, 95, of Hyde Park, PA, passed away on Thursday, March 6, 2025, at Quality Life Services-Apollo.

A daughter of the late Theodore Roosevelt Cecconie and Dorothy (Grunden) Cecconie, she was born on August 11, 1929, in Gilpin Township, PA.

Mona had been employed by Breeze Industrial Products in Saltsburg as a laborer in the Clinching Dept. for 30 years before retiring in 1995.  She was a member of Hope Lutheran Church in Hyde Park.  Mona was a 1947 graduate of Leechburg High School.  She enjoyed solving jigsaw and crossword puzzles and flower gardening.

Survivors include her son, Mark W. McComb of Hyde Park; and three grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Arthur L. McComb; her siblings, Joseph F. Cecconie, William R. Cecconie, Theodore R. Cecconie, Dolores Cravener; Nancy Barr; and stepsister, Janet L. Blystone.

The Clawson Funeral & Cremation Center, 170 Main St., Leechburg, 724-842-1051, has been entrusted with private arrangements.
