Mary A. (Snow) Smith

Mary A. (Snow) Smith, 70, of Leechburg, PA, passed away on Friday, March 5, 2021 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh.

A daughter of the late Herbert Snow and Mary Thompson, she was born January 27, 1951 in East Liverpool, Ohio.

Mary was the co-owner of Smith Auction in Leechburg since 1979. She was a member of the Leechburg Sokol Club for many years. Mary enjoyed reading, but her biggest source of joy was spending quality time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Gerald L. Smith of Leechburg; three sons, Addie Birch (Angela) of Apollo, Lee Smith (Jennifer) of Leechburg, Shawn Smith of Leechburg; a step-daughter, Ruth-Ann Smith of Beaver Falls; nine grandchildren; one great-grandson; a sister, Linda Tustin of East Liverpool, OH; and two daughters in-law, Michele Weaver (Steve), and Kristine Smith of Gilpin.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

The Clawson Funeral & Cremation Center, 170 Main Street, Leechburg (724-842-1051) has been entrusted with private arrangements at this time.  A Celebration of Life service will be held by Mary’s family at a later date.
