Mary T. (Tarella) Lamanna, 71, of Gilpin Township, PA, passed away on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, in her residence.

A daughter of the late Robert “Tino” Tarella and Anne (Penta) Tarella, she was born on July 21, 1953, in New Kensington, PA.

Mary had been employed throughout the A-K Valley, but primarily by Valley High School, as a Gifted Coordinator and substitute teacher until retiring in 2015.  She was a member of Christ the King Parish in Gilpin Township.  She enjoyed cooking.

Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Carmen C. Lamanna of Gilpin Township; her son, Brian R. Lamanna (Michelle Bigg) of Las Vegas, NV; brothers, Peter Tarella of Vandergrift, Robert Tarella of Oakmont; sisters, Toni Manol of Wexford, Teresa Caporali (Larry) of Bonita Springs, FL.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Jason C. Lamanna.

Friends will be welcomed by her family on Monday, May 19, 2025 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Clawson Funeral & Cremation Center, 170 Main St., Leechburg, 724-842-1051.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, May 20, at Christ the King Parish in Gilpin Township, with the Rev. Alan N. Polczynski as celebrant.  Interment will follow at St. Catherine Cemetery in Gilpin Township.
