Marjorie Ruth (Reynolds) Santillo Obituary

Marjorie Ruth (Reynolds) Santillo, beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, and cherished friend, passed away at her home in Vandergrift on December 2, 2024, at the age of 72. Born November 25, 1952, in Canonsburg, PA, she was the daughter of William Reynolds and Marjorie (Penvose) Reynolds.

In 1970, Marjorie married the love of her life, Vincent Dominec Santillo. Together for 54 years they built a life filled with love and laughter, raising four children: Angeline, Rita, Melissa, and Vincent.

In her later years, Marjorie developed a passion for gambling and travel. She never met a slot machine she did not like, and over the last 25 years, her and Vincent visited many casinos around the world. A greater enjoyment to Marjorie, “Gigi” as she was affectionately known, was being a grandmother and great-grandmother. Marjorie always provided a warm, welcoming home, whether just for a visit or longer stays in a time of need; and in doing so, created a legacy of love and kindness in the hearts of her extended family.

Marjorie is survived by her husband, Vincent; children, Angeline (Michael) Zemba, Rita (David) Koedel, Melissa (Derrick) Renwick and Vincent (Simone) Santillo; grandchildren, Kaitlin, Dominque, Jake, Kodi, Angelo, Joseph, Olivia and Aidan; great-grandchildren, Sofia, Gabriella, Bentley, Kasen, Myles, Margaux, Maveric and Everly; her mother, Marjorie; and brothers, William (Lorrie) Reynolds and Thomas Reynolds.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her father, William Reynolds.

Marjorie’s warmth, generosity, and unwavering love touched the lives of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Per Marjorie’s wishes, her family will honor her in a private memorial ceremony. Our family is eternally grateful for the care provided by Good Samaritan Hospice; and requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made directly to them at 116 Browns Hill Road, Valencia, PA  16059.
