Lewis A. "Wege" Burns Jr.

Lewis A. “Wege” Burns Jr., 69, of Leechburg, PA, passed away on Sunday, November 21, 2021 at Grey’s Personal Care Home in Kittanning.

A son of the late Lewis A. Burns Sr. and Lucy V. (Rua) Burns, he was born August 5, 1952, in Natrona Heights.

Lewis had been employed in the maintenance dept. by Allegheny Ludlum Steel in West Leechburg for 35 years before retiring in 2005.  He was an avid Steeler fan and member of the Leechburg Moose Lodge #102.

Survivors include his two sons, Donavon A. Burns (Danielle) of Parks Township, Brandon E. Burns of West Leechburg; three grandsons, Xavier, Chase, Cruz; a brother, Eugene T. Burns (Barbara) of North Apollo; three sisters, Margaret Law (Alan) of Baton Rouge, LA, Shirley Callaghan (David) of Allegheny Township, Doreen F. Schrecengost (Todd) of Kittanning.

Private funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Clawson Funeral & Cremation Center, 170 Main Street, Leechburg (724-842-1051).
