Laurel Lee (Page) Klingensmith

Laurel Lee (Page) Klingensmith, 87, of Allegheny Township, passed away on Friday, July 7, 2023, in her residence.

A daughter of the late Wilfred Page and Julia (Lessig) Page, she was born June 4, 1936 in Gilpin Township, PA.

Laurel was a homemaker and member of the First United Methodist Church in Leechburg.  She was also a member of the Red Hats and enjoyed playing cards.

Survivors include her children, Jeffrey L. Klingensmith of Allegheny Township, Mark E. Klingensmith (Joyce) of Allegheny Township, Laurel Hamilton (Gregory) of Leechburg, Joy Lynn Snyder of North Vandergrift, Dorothy Ann Klingensmith (Jeff) of Oklahoma Boro; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a sister, Polly Lambing of South Leechburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Lynes James “Jim” Klingensmith in 2009; a brother, Thomas Page and his wife Helen; and a sister, Dorothy Grimm.

Friends will be welcomed by her family on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Clawson Funeral & Cremation Center, 170 Main St., Leechburg, 724-842-1051, where funeral ceremonies will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 12, with Pastor Sara Wrona officiating.  Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Gilpin Township.
