Larry Hepler

Larry Hepler, 89, of West Leechburg, passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at Forbes Hospital in Monroeville.

A son of the late George Hepler and Katherine (Rinaldi) Hepler, he was born September 22, 1936, in Vandergrift, PA.

Larry was a U.S. Air Force veteran having honorably served during the Korean War. He had been employed by the Victor Ravioli Co. and the Lamagna Cheese Co. in Verona for 27 years before retiring in 1999.  He was a member of Christ the King Parish in Gilpin Township and the Rosedale Hunting Club in Harmarville.  Larry was an avid hunter and fisherman.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Helen M. (Solonichne) Hepler of West Leechburg; a daughter, Lisa Cook (Kirk) of Natrona Heights; and a brother, Michael Hepler (Patty) of Vandergrift.

Friends will be welcomed by his family on Monday, April 20, 2026, from 6-8 p.m. at the Clawson Funeral & Cremation Center, 170 Main St., Leechburg, 724-842-1051, where Parting Prayers of Transfer will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 21.  A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 a.m. at Christ the King Parish, 125 Park Rd., Leechburg, with the Rev. Alan N. Polczynski as celebrant.  Private interment will be held at St. Catherine Cemetery in Gilpin Township.
