L. Dean Klingensmith Sr., 86, of Parks Township, PA, passed away on Thursday, September 19, 2024, at Pine View Personal Care in Parks Township.

A son of the late Paul N. Klingensmith and Helen (Klugh) Klingensmith, he was born on April 28, 1938, in Leechburg, PA

Loren was a veteran having honorably served in the U.S. Navy.  He was the owner and operator of Dean’s Towing for over 25 years before retiring.  He also liked working on computers and electronics.

Survivors include his two sons and two daughters, Loren Dean Klingensmith Jr. of Leechburg, Jeff Klingensmith (Krysti) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Vicki Cravener (John) of North Apollo, Kallie Willis (William) of Magnolia, DE; six grandchildren, Kaitlyn Siverd (John), Andrew Klingensmith (Haley), Haley Masters (Jordan), Sydney Klingensmith, Brooklyn Klingensmith, Camden Kliingensmith, and a granddaughter on-the-way; four great-grandchildren, Dawson, Waylon, Jacquelyn, Oakley; a sister, Doris Young of Arizona; and special friend and caretaker, Andrea Sinka of Vandergrift.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Gerald Klingensmith; and a sister, Billie Phillips.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, October 14, 2024, at the Clawson Funeral & Cremation Center, 170 Main St., Leechburg, 724-842-1051, with the Rev. Lee Rupert officiating.  Private interment will be held at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies in Bridgeville.
