Katherine (Slomka) Kunselman

Katherine (Slomka) Kunselman of Brookville, Pennsylvania went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 10, 2023 at 9:30 AM.

She was the daughter of William David Slomka and Anna Sylvia (Yajko) Slomka. Katherine was born on April 1, 1940 in West Leechburg, Pennsylvania. She retired in 2002.

Katherine enjoyed dancing to all types of music. She enjoyed traveling to Christian conventions or conferences, crocheting lap covers for nursing home residents, and crocheting afghans and dish cloths for friends and family. She blessed people with her creations.

She is survived by two daughters, Terri Lynn (Kunselman) Neill of New Paris, Pennsylvania and Kimberly (Kunselman) Morgan, (husband David), three granddaughters, Faithavion Neill of New Paris, Pennsylvania, Rachael Morgan, and Taylor (Morgan) Dorrell of Knoxville, Tennessee and one grandson, Matthew Stell of Clarksville, Tennessee.  A sister, Rose Marie (Slomka) Esper of Freeport, Pennsylvania.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Bernadette Ann Kunselman, a sister, Loretta Jean (Slomka) Sheldon, a brother, William David Slomka, a sister-in-law, Jean Slomka.  There will be no viewing per Katherine‘s request.

Internment will be at St. Catherine’s Cemetery, Leechburg, Pennsylvania.  The Clawson Funeral & Cremation Center, 170 Main St., Leechburg, 724-842-1051 has been entrusted with all private arrangements.
