Kaitlyn Brianna Gorelli

Kaitlyn Brianna Gorelli, 54, of Parks Township, passed away on Friday, May 19, 2023, in her residence.

A daughter of the late Gerald C. Gorelli and Betty Lou (Quillen) Gorelli, she was born November 22, 1968 in Pittsburgh, PA.

Kaitlyn was a 1987 graduate of Leechburg Area High School and attended Penn State University Main Campus studying chemistry for four years.  She had been self-employed in various positions with her family businesses, including owner of Valley Car Wash, co-owner of Budget Mini Storage, and partner (gunsmith) for K and R Arms.

Kaitlyn was a member of the N.R.A. and a lifetime member of the American Pyrotechnic Association.  She liked making and setting off fireworks and shooting guns.  She enjoyed traveling, especially taking family trips.  She loved being at the river, boating, jet skiing, and fishing.  Kaitlyn loved her cats – rescuing many of them.

Survivors include her sister, Dana A. Valente (P.J.) of Parks Township; life partner, Rachel Golem of Parks Township; aunt and uncle, Cindy Shay (Bill) of Mt. Lebanon; cousins, Erin Shay-Hynds (Steve) of Upper St. Clair, and Kyle Shay of Baltimore, MD.

The Clawson Funeral & Cremation Center, 170 Main St., Leechburg, 724-842-1051, has been entrusted with all private arrangements.
