Julia B. (Huska) Dosch, 87, of Hyde Park, PA, passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at the Donnell House Hospice Facility in Washington, PA.
A daughter of the late Stephen Huska and Theresa (Fazekas) Huska, she was born April 22, 1933, in Hyde Park.
Julia was a member of Christ the King Parish in Gilpin Township. She enjoyed working in her yard in her spare time, as well as cooking and spending time with her family. Julia found much joy in giving back to family members and friends.
Survivors include a son, David Dosch of Vandergrift; a daughter, Veronica Quade (David) of Hickory, PA; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Benjamin Huska of Rural Valley, Paul Huska of Hyde Park; one sister, Sylvia Oswald of West Virginia; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth E. Dosch in November 1992; and two brothers, Leonard Huska and Steven Huska.
Friends will be welcomed by her family on Thursday, February 4, 2021 from 10 AM-12 PM at Christ the King Parish, 125 Park Road, Gilpin Township. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at Noon with the Rev. James H. Loew, O.S.B. as celebrant. All visitors are asked to respectfully follow current state guidelines of required masks/face coverings, social distancing and gathering restrictions. Private interment will be held at St. Catherine Cemetery in Gilpin Township. The Clawson Funeral & Cremation Center, 170 Main Street, Leechburg (724-842-1051) has been entrusted with arrangements.
