Joseph P. Fondrk

Joseph P. Fondrk, 76, of Vandergrift, passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at Allegheny Valley Hospital in Natrona Heights.

A son of the late Joseph Fondrk and Rosella (Abraham) Fondrk, he was born June 17, 1949, in New Kensington, PA.

Joseph was a general craftsman and owner of the former Fondrk Hardware store in Leechburg. He had also been employed by the U.S. Department of the Navy, Office of Naval Research in Washington, D.C., for over 15 years before retiring in 1994.

He is survived by his sister, Karen Diebold; nephew, Michael Diebold; and great nephew, Kyle Diebold, all of Leechburg.

Private arrangements have been entrusted to the Clawson Funeral & Cremation Center, 170 Main St., Leechburg, 724-842-1051.  Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
