John W. Eyler III, 78, of Kittanning, PA, passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at Kittanning Care Center.
A son of the late John William Eyler and Catherine Marie (Frank) Eyler, he was born on June 22, 1946, in Leechburg, PA.
John had been employed as a groundskeeper/caretaker at Greenwood Memorial Park in Lower Burrell and as a custodian at St. Gertrude Church and school for a number of years before retiring. He was a member of the Kiski Valley Community Church in Leechburg. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survivors include his son, John W. “Billy” Eyler IV; his daughter, Heidi M. Eyler of Leechburg; and a brother, Joel P. Eyler (Nancy) of Allegheny Township.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Linda G. Eyler.
All arrangements are private and have been entrusted to the Clawson Funeral & Cremation Center, 170 Main St., Leechburg, 724-842-1051.
