Jeffrey A. Knight

Jeffrey A. Knight, 59, of Gilpin Township, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, in his residence.

A son of the late Riley Knight Sr. and Mary D. (Coles) Knight, he was born September 29, 1966, in Natrona Heights, PA.

Jeff was a loving husband, a proud father to his two children, and a cherished Pap, whose love for his grandson brought him much joy.  His infectious smile was welcoming and radiated warmth.  Jeff had been employed as a driver by Republic Services in Scottdale.  He had a passion for golfing that was unmatched and was a member of the Links At Spring Church. Jeff enjoyed family gatherings, grilling, wrestling, yard sales, holidays, horror and sci-fi movies, and Pittsburgh Steelers.

He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Melanie J. (Henry) Knight of Gilpin Township; a son, Devaughn Knight of Slippery Rock; a daughter, Daesha Knight of Gilpin Township; a grandson, Leon; four brothers, Riley Knight Jr. (Betty) of Pittsburgh, Tim Knight (Linda) of Pittsburgh, Shawn Knight of Pittsburgh, Mike Knight of Honduras; a sister, Rene Lightcap of Hagerstown, MD; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends will be welcomed by his family on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, from 6-8 p.m. at the Clawson Funeral & Cremation Center, 170 Main St., Leechburg, 724-842-1051.  Interment will be private.
