Jean Ann (Boeh) Tygielski, 84, of West Leechburg, passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2022, at Belair Nursing Home in Lower Burrell.
A daughter of the late Charles Boeh and Katherine (Jellison) Boeh, she was born February 16, 1938 in Indiana, PA.
Jean had been employed as a visiting nurse with the VNA and as assistant to Dr. McFadden’s Office in Vandergrift before her retirement. She was a member of the former St. Martha R.C. Church in Leechburg and currently Christ the King Parish in Gilpin Township. Jean enjoyed watching QVC and the news on TV as her pastime.
Survivors include her sons, Keith J. Tygielski of West Leechburg, Brian W. Tygielski (Jonelle) of McMurray, Kevin C. Tygielski (Alexa) of Irwin; a daughter, Kathy A. Seroka (Joseph) of Canonsburg; five grandchildren, Samantha, Carter, Gabriel, Benjamin, Charlie; and a brother, Charles Boeh of Blairsville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 24 years, Walter S. Tygielski in 1989; and a brother, John Boeh.
Friends will be welcomed by her family on Thursday, December 22, 2022 from 5-7 p.m. at Clawson Funeral & Cremation Center, 170 Main St., Leechburg, 724-842-1051. Additional visitation will be held on Friday, December 23, from 10-11 a.m. at Christ the King Parish, 125 Park Road, Gilpin Township. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m. with the Rev. James H. Loew, O.S.B. as celebrant. Interment will be held at St. Catherine Cemetery in Gilpin Township. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jean’s name may be made to the Dementia Society of America, PO Box 600, Doylestown, PA 18901.
