Irene L. (Paul) Hogue, 91, of Allegheny Township, passed away Friday, November 14, 2025, in her residence.

A daughter of the late John and Edith Paul, she was born February 13, 1934, in Kelly Station, PA. She was the youngest of the 10 children.

She was very crafty and loved to crochet, needlepoint, and especially create beautiful things with plastic canvas! She also enjoyed working on puzzle books.  Irene had been employed as a bartender at The Ginn Mill bar. 

She was there for every birth of her grandchildren. When there was a holiday or special event at their school, she would work tirelessly through the night to make sure she had some unique and beautiful creation to give to each child in their classrooms.

She is survived by her children, Kevin Hogue of Allegheny Township, Bernard Hogue (Kim) of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Jeffrey Hogue (Anna Marie) of Baltimore, MD, Jon Hogue of Ford City, Susan Carney (Donald) of Gilpin Township; and nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Cletus B. Hogue in 2009; and several brothers and sisters.
