Gerald K. Frederick Jr.

Gerald K. Frederick Jr., 52, of West Leechburg, passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2023, in his home.

A son of Gerald K. Frederick Sr. and Betty (Troup) Frederick, he was born May 28, 1970 in Natrona Heights, PA.

Jerry was a graduate of West Virginia University, where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Visual Arts.  He had been employed as a digital print press operator by R.R. Donnelley (RRD) of Pittsburgh for over 20 years. Jerry enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing, playing corn hole, and especially spending time with his family and friends.  He was a member of the “Jag-Offs” golf league at the Buffalo Golf Course.

Survivors include his parents of Allegheny Township; his fiancé, Christine Walker of West Leechburg; two daughters, Kylie Frederick (Spencer Nicewonger) of Export, Reagan Frederick of Oakmont; two grandchildren, Silas and Henley Nicewonger; a brother, Christopher Frederick (Shawnee) of Wexford; a sister, Kim Claxon (Jethro) of Allegheny Township; two uncles, Thomas Frederick (Jan) of Monroeville, Dave Troup of Allegheny Township; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jerry’s family would like to thank Dr. Alexander Whiting, the nurses and hospice staff of Allegheny General Hospital, as well as the physical therapists and nursing staff at Allegheny Valley Hospital, for the compassionate and outstanding care given to Jerry.
