Faylyn E. (Jackson) Klingensmith, 79, of Parks Township, passed away on January 19, 2021 in her residence.
A daughter of the late Wayne Jackson, Sr. and Wenneta Bell (Markle) Jackson, she was born February 12, 1941, in Kiski Township, Pennsylvania.
Faylyn was a member of the North Apollo Church of God and the Allegheny Township Ladies Auxiliary, and also enjoyed spending quality time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include two sons, Richard A. Klingensmith of Loyalhanna, Vern J. Klingensmith of Allegheny Township; three daughters, Jo Ann Isaacson of Spring Church, Mary Petrella (Duane Baker) of Vandergrift, Sylvia R. Klingensmith (Mark Hilty) of Kiskimere, Parks Township; three brothers, Wayne “Sonny” Jackson of Washington Township, Ronald Jackson of Spring Church, Robert Jackson of Vandergrift; four sisters, Doris Mae Walker of Oklahoma Boroug,Marianne Smith of Allegheny Township, Jane Smith, Linda Altman (Don) of Oklahoma Borough; 17 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rodney C. Klingensmith in April 2004; a son, Clifford W. Klingensmith; and Vernon J. Kegg, who raised her.
A private family visitation and funeral service will be held at Clawson Funeral & Cremation Center, 170 Main Street, Leechburg (724-842-1051), followed by private interment held at Greenwood Memorial Park in Lower Burrell.
