Esther J. (Sellers) Bielek, 81, of Allegheny Township, PA, passed away on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at Allegheny Valley Hospital in Natrona Heights.
A daughter of the late James D. Sellers and Helen L. (Cinpinski) Sellers, she was born February 23, 1940, in East Orange, New Jersey.
Esther had been employed by PPG Industries for over 20 years working in both Ford City, PA and Decatur, Illinois before retiring in 2002. Upon retirement, she worked as a cashier for the Dollar Tree in Lower Burrell. She was of the Christian faith. Esther most loved spending time with her family.
Survivors include two daughters, Leslie Majersky (Gary) of Allegheny Township, Rebecca Scandrol of Allegheny Township; three grandchildren, Megan Maruna (Daren) of Burton, Ohio, Caleb Byles of Allegheny Township, Eric Majersky of Allegheny Township; a sister, Vicki Sellers of North Apollo; nephews, Matt Sellers (Colleen) of Allegheny Township, Jason Scandrol; and great nephew, Max Sellers.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, George James Scandrol; a brother, James “Peter” Sellers; and a nephew, Jim Scandrol.
Friends will be welcomed by her family on Saturday, Oct. 30, 2021 from 3-7 p.m. at the Clawson Funeral & Cremation Center, 170 Main Street, Leechburg (724-842-1051) where funeral ceremonies will begin at 7 p.m. with Angela Kupas officiating. Private interment will be held at St. Catherine Cemetery in Gilpin Township at the convenience of her family.
