Ernest W. McGinnis Jr., 70, of Leechburg, passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 in his residence.

A son of the late Ernest W. McGinnis Sr. and Maryann McGinnis, he was born on May 24, 1949 in Westmoreland County.

Ernest was employed as a diesel mechanic for a trucking company. He was a veteran having served in the U.S. Army.

Survivors include his wife, R. Marie Evans of Salem, Alabama; and children, Lisa Whitmer, Todd and Jennifer McGinnis.

All arrangements were private.
