Edward Shaw Obituary

Edward Shaw, 74, of Leechburg, passed away on Monday, March 11, 2024, at the Veteran’s Hospital in Pittsburgh.


A son of the late James Shaw and Henrietta (Arrison) Shaw, he was born June 30, 1949, in Brownsville, PA.


Edward was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War.  He had been employed as a general laborer by a construction labor union in Pittsburgh before retirement.  He was of the Catholic faith.  Edward enjoyed watching wrestling, riding motorcycles, and playing pool.


Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Lori (Stull) Shaw of Leechburg; two sons, Jeremy Edward Shaw (Tyler) of Pittsburgh, and Jason Edward Shaw of Pittsburgh; brothers, Francis Shaw (Andrea) of Brownsville, Michael Shaw (Judy) of Republic; a sister, Susan Shaw of New Salem; and numerous nieces and nephews.


In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, James Shaw, Daniel Shaw, Edith Auman, Virginia Kusch, JoAnn McDonald, Ella Hunter.


Private arrangements have been entrusted to the Clawson Funeral & Cremation Center, 170 Main St., Leechburg, 724-842-1051.  Interment will be held at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies in Bridgeville.
