Dorothy Mae Held

Dorothy Mae Held, 83, of Washington Township, formerly of Leechburg, passed away on Friday, November 10, 2023, at Quality Life Services of Apollo.

A daughter of the late Earnest Frederick Held and Thelma Marie (Riggle) Held, she was born June 21, 1940 in Hyde Park, PA.

Dorothy had been a homemaker.

Survivors include her brother, John G. Held of Woodbridge, VA, David S. Held of Raleigh, NC, James L. Held (Kathleen) of Providence, RI; a sister, Helen V. Held of Washington Township; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, William E. Held; and a sister, Lillian G. Schenk.

Friends will be welcomed by her family on Monday, November 27, 2023 from 10 a.m. until the time of funeral ceremonies beginning at 11 a.m. at the Clawson Funeral & Cremation Center, 170 Main St., Leechburg, 724-842-1051, with Pastor Philip S. Ramstad officiating.  Private interment will be held at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Allegheny Township.
