Dorothy M. (Ulisky) Bonello, 90, of Gilpin Township, passed away Friday, April 10, 2026, at Arbors at St. Barnabas in Valencia.
A daughter of the late Julia (Ulisky) Kalmar, she was born April 9, 1936, in Ford City, PA.
Dorothy was a homemaker who also worked in the offices of Allegheny Ludlum and Bonello’s Restaurant. She was a member of Christ the King Parish in Gilpin Township where she was very active within church organizations. She was also a member of the Marconi Club Auxiliary. Dorothy most treasured spending time with her family sharing her wonderful cooking and baking talents. She also enjoyed bowling and vacationing at the beach.
She is survived by five daughters, Michelle Bonello of Painesville, Ohio, Lisa Kreashko of Wexford, Janice Matisko (Michael) of Indiana Township, Lori Walton (Cary) of York, Marci Goebel (Robert) of Seattle, Washington; twelve grandchildren, Victor, Darin, Travis, Megan, Kelsey, Alexis, Morgan, Nathan, Christopher, Daniel, Jimmy, Madison; seven great-grandchildren, Mason, Brody, Reagan, Mila, Nolan, Christopher, Fiona, and three more great-grandchildren on-the-way.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Dr. James D. Bonello in 2014.
Friends will be welcomed by her family on Friday, April 17, 2026, from 5-7 p.m. at the Clawson Funeral & Cremation Center, 170 Main St., Leechburg, 724-842-1051. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 18, at Christ the King Parish, 125 Park Road, Leechburg, with the Rev. Alan N. Polczynski as celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Catherine Cemetery in Gilpin Township
