David Steven Zeigler, 53, of West Leechburg, PA, passed away on Monday, December 28, 2020 at Forbes Regional Hospital in Monroeville.
A son of the late Steve J. Zeigler and Loretta F. (Yasczak) Zeigler of West Leechburg, he was born December 17, 1967, in New Kensington.
David was a graduate of Lenape Tech and Leechburg Area High School. He was of the Catholic faith and proud of his Polish heritage. He was employed by Giant Eagle in Fox Chapel for 22 years. David enjoyed playing games on the computer, fishing, listening to country music, posting on Facebook, and going to casinos.
Survivors include his mother; a brother, Michael Zeigler (Sarah) of West Leechburg; a sister, Lisa Zeigler Potts (Jason Speck) of Gilpin Township; nieces, Laurel Clark (Mike), Rachel Zeigler; nephews, Steven Zeigler and Colby Potts.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Steve and Veronica Zeigler; and maternal grandparents, Henry and Irene Yasczak.
His family would like to offer special thanks to Quality Life Services, DaVita Dialysis and the doctors and nurses of Forbes Hospital for the excellent care given to David.
Friends will be welcomed by his family on Monday, January 4, 2021 from 10-11 a.m. at Christ the King Parish, 125 Park Road, Gilpin Township, followed immediately by a Mass of Christian Burial with Rev. James H. Loew, O.S.B. and Rev. Michael J. Scibberas concelebrating. All visitors are asked to respectfully follow current state guidelines of required masks/face coverings, social distancing and gathering restrictions. Private interment will be made at St. Catherine Cemetery in Gilpin Township.

The Clawson Funeral & Cremation Center, 170 Main Street, Leechburg (724-842-1051) has been entrusted with arrangements.
