Daniel J. Venturini Sr., 60, of Allegheny Township, PA, passed away suddenly on Thursday, November 11, 2021.
A son of Marlene (Sappe) Venturini and the late Robert J. Venturini, he was born March 20, 1961, in New Kensington.
Dan was a 1979 graduate of Leechburg High School. For 37 years, he was a dedicated employee at DeJager Construction as a Project Superintendent. Dan was a devoted family man. He enjoyed boating on the Allegheny River and working in his yard and woodshop. Dan was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan who enjoyed riding his Harley. But most of all, he treasured spending time at camp with his son, grandson and nieces and nephews.
Survivors include his mother of Allegheny Township; his son, Daniel J. Venturini Jr. (fiancé Lena) of Apollo; his grandson, Jameson; two brothers, Rodney Venturini (Elaine) of West Leechburg, David Venturini (Jeanne) of Apollo; a sister, Tina Rapacchietta (David) of Allegheny Township; nieces and nephews, Brian Venturini (Traci), Matthew Venturini (Ronni), Jeremy Venturini, Olivia Rapacchietta, Vincent Rapacchietta; great niece, Auvi Aunna Venturini; and friend and companion, Lisa Mottillo.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Robert D. Venturini.
Friends will be welcomed by his family on Thursday, Nov. 18, 2021 from 2 p.m. until the time of a Blessing Service at 6 p.m. at the Clawson Funeral & Cremation Center, 170 Main Street, Leechburg (724-842-1051) with Rev. James H. Loew, O.S.B. officiating. Private interment will be held at St. Catherine Cemetery in Gilpin Township.
