Daniel A. Reinke, 75, of Leechburg, passed away on Friday, September 16, 2022, at Forbes Regional Hospital in Monroeville.

A son of the late Jacob Reinke and Elizabeth (Marranconi) Reinke, he was born June 1, 1947 in Tarentum, PA.

Daniel was a U.S. Army veteran having served during the Vietnam War.  He had been employed as a general laborer by Allegheny Ludlum Steel in Bagdad for 22 years before retiring in 2012.  He also owned and operated his business “D.R. Custom Cues” with his passion for playing pool and making pool cues.  Daniel was a member of Christ The King Parish in Gilpin Township, Vandergrift VFW Post 566, Parks Township Sportsmen Club, Leechburg Moose Lodge 102, and Leechburg Sokol Club.  He enjoyed fishing, going for drives in the mountains, and spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Ruth A. (Petrus) Reinke of Leechburg, a son, Stanley J. Reinke (April) of Leechburg; three daughters, Teresa A. Edinger (John) of Leechburg, Tina M. Farrier (Sam) of Murrysville, Danielle M. Reinke of Leechburg; eight grandchildren, Kevin Miller D.J. Oberdorf (Kenzie), Stanley Burtick, Jonathan Burtick, Gracie Reinke, Jacob Reinke, Rachel Reinke, Kyle Reinke; a sister, Sandra Cibik (William) of Gilpin Township; a special aunt, Rosalie Faulk of Maryland; numerous nieces and nephews; and beloved extended family.

Friends will be welcomed by his family on Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2022 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Clawson Funeral & Cremation Center, 170 Main St., Leechburg, 724-842-1051. Parting Prayers of Transfer will be held on Thursday, Sept. 22, at 10:15 a.m. at Christ The King Parish, 125 Park Rd., in Gilpin Township, followed by Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. James H. Loew, O.S.B. and the Rev. Michael J. Sciberras, co-celebrants. Everyone is asked to meet at the church on Thursday.  Military honors will be conducted by the Vandergrift Veterans Honor Guard.  Private interment will be held in St. Catherine Cemetery in Gilpin Township.
