Daniel R. Jones, 26, of West Leechburg, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 23, 2025.

Born August 21, 1998, in Natrona Heights, he was a son of Mark D. and Bobbi R. (Ashbaugh) Jones of West Leechburg.

Daniel was a 2017 graduate of Lenape Vo-Tech, and was currently working as a Table Games Dealer for the Rivers Casino of Pittsburgh.

Daniel loved football, music, gaming, Greek, Roman, and Norse mythology, and his family dogs. He enjoyed spending time with his friends, going to concerts, and playing video games. He was sweet, kind-hearted, and willing to put the needs of others before his own. 

He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandparents, Lois P. (Largo) and Audley H. Henry; and his paternal grandfather, David Jones. 

In addition to his parents, Mark (Janet) and Bobbi (Richard), Daniel is survived by his brothers, Lucas (Rebecca) Jones of Cleveland, Ohio, and Jacob Jones of West Leechburg; maternal grandparents, Robert and Sandra (Henry) Ashbaugh of Leechburg; paternal grandmother, Susan (Conroy) Jones of Ross Township; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

At the request of the family, all services are private, and have been entrusted to the care of the Clawson Funeral & Cremation Center, Leechburg, 724-842-1051. A celebration of life will be planned at a later date.
